Home for the Holidays - SCARLETT Oh, how I love my people! I want to be with you all the time! Maybe my foster family should have called me Shadow instead of Scarlett!! Ill play with you, snuggle with you, sleep with you, love you, be happy with you. Wouldnt you love to have a best friend like me? I love playing in the grass, Mother Earth and and I are good friends, so Iâll happily enjoy lots of walks and playtime outdoors. We can explore the world together! I also like chew toys, balls, dog bones, anything you give me; but be warned, Ill destroy any soft toys so best to stick to the tough ones. Dont worry, though, Im a lady in the house, so no need to worry about your furniture, shoes, or clothes, Ill respect them. Iâm mostly housebroken, three or four walks a day and Ill be just fine, plus we can use up some of my puppy energy. Im only a year and ten months old, really just an active kid learning to enjoy life. Like a lot of pups, I havent learned all my manners yet, may nip your fingers when Im excited, but we can work on that together. And I need some socializing with other dogs, something that was absent in my former home. So perhaps its best that I not live with young kids or aggressive female dogs. Im okay with male dogs. So why did I end up in rescue? Well, I have some food allergies so eat a special diet that my foster mom makes for me, very simple, easy to find, inexpensive ingredients. You can make up large batches and freeze them, so I wont cost you a lot of time and money. Plus, being a petite 17 lbs, I dont need a lot of food to keep me beautiful. Wouldnt we make a perfect family together?
