Home from the Mayo, Paula did great!! I am so blessed to have her. The head of my team, left the Mayo, and I was assigned to a new doctor, a couple of months ago. So once again, it was like starting over. He wanted to rule out anxiety or any philological problems. So even though I have been through this maybe four times, I saw a physiatrists again on Tuesday. I know everyone has always said I was crazy, but to my, and maybe your surprise, he said I was SANE, go figure, after all these years.... He was upset that I was even there. He thinks that my brain is telling my body to overreact to heat. He said, You have a physical condition and Im gonna make sure someone finds out what it is. He wrote a letter to the head of internal medicine while we were together. I had an appointment with the head of my (old) new team today, but when I signed in, I was told to go to another office. I there saw the PA for the head of yet another new team, lol, (I have to laugh to keep from crying) and guess who it is? Dr. Seim, the head of internal medicine for all of the Mayo. Suddenly, I go back within the next two weeks, or as soon as the tests to take a closer look at the abnormality on my skull can be scheduled... which the PA said, Dr. Seim feels should have been done months ago. I hope and pray the Lord has finally found me the right doctor and they will find what has caused this long imprisonment in my own body. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes... they were and are very much appreciated.
