Home now, surgery was a success. So much less pain. Have to have down time for awhile but everything is going to be good :) People at st ALS were wonderful! Wanted to tell you a great thing that happened there, I was talking to the surgeon (very nice lady) she said she wanted to know about my stand on no blood. WAs it true that I would refuse all blood? Even if it came down to it and it and it meant my life. I said I very much wanted to live and I wanted her to do everything in her power to save me but with the exception that I would take no blood whether it was whole, parts or fractions and that yes if it came down to it I would rather die. She was very kind, understanding. Surgery time came no anesthesiologist, usually they come and discuss issues in my room. But he never came. Weird but okay. My dr came and had me wheeled up to the operating room where there was several drs/ nurses waiting. She said once I had been wheeled in front of them I want to ask you your stand on blood I said I wont take any blood same as I said before. I want to live and I want you to do everything in your power to help me live but I wont take blood, parts or fractions (I started getting teared up here) even if that means I die yes that is my choice. She said I know I understand these people here are all my team that are going to be working on you and I want them all to hear and understand and be on the same page. It was the most amazing thing, feeling, she supported my choice and was making sure her team knew and understood and supported my choice. Jehovah is a wonderful god! Thank you everyone for your prayers love and support
