Home safe from WindyCon! No bad snow along the way, but flurries - TopicsExpress

Home safe from WindyCon! No bad snow along the way, but flurries started once I hit the Washtenaw County line, that slowed everone down to about 50 mph and stretched the four-and-a-half-hour drive into a solid five hours. But. No major jerks along the way, no really slippery spots, no bad construction delays, no problem. From the weather reports I picked up on the way, it sounds like tomorrow will be best spent getting groceries early, then coming home to finish unpacking the van and staying inside for a few days. Ill go over Windy in detail tomorrow, but the short form is: an absolutely fantastic time. Many hugs from many wonderful people, two concert sets that rocked a lot more than I have in a while – at least it seemed that way to me – and ALL THE THANKS to everyone on the con-com, Richard and Phoenix and Ann and Debbie and and and. Like my peeps at FenCon and MillenniCon and DragonCon, anything I can do for you is yours – you have but to ask. Aaaaaand how are YOU doing this snowy evening?
