Home school Latin class..."I am offering a class in the Latin language this year for students age 12 and up. The class will meet twice per week for one hour, on Mondays and Fridays at 2:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church in Fresno. We will use Wheelock’s Latin 7th edition, which is available from most major bookstores. I have a BA in linguistics from CSU, Fresno with a minor in Greek and Latin, and I am currently working on my MA in linguistics at CSU, Fresno. I have nine years of experience with Latin, and have been teaching Latin for six years. I was homeschooled through high school. I first learned Latin from Doug Favelo, who taught Latin to homeschoolers in Fresno for many years. Tuition for the class is $375 per student per semester. A discount for multiple students from the same family is available. Tuition is due the second week of class or by prior arrangement. Class size will be limited. Instruction will begin Friday, September 6th and will run each week until December 13th.
