Home school mommies - I need your help!!! I want to start Kallie on a Pre-K program at home. I plan to transition her into Mansfield ISD for Kindergarten, but I read the long list of things she needs to know before starting and she is lacking about 75% of the knowledge she needs to have before August 2015. This gives me roughly 1 year to do Pre-K with her at home or until I go back to work in the fall and put her in a private Pre-K. Heres what I need help with: where do you get your curriculum from, are the paid online programs worth the money? How do I make this interesting for her if she is an only child? She is extremely social and NEEDS other kids. I have a hard time getting on her level; I already know the alphabet, how the heck do you explain a letter? Ive tutored a lot in the past but my experience is in accounting, advanced math and physics...not Pre-K! Help, all advice is appreciated :)
