Home thank fook! Its been raining all day, rumour has it the sun is returning at the weekend so we live in hope. The fields are eerily silent, all week you were in danger of being run over by a convoy of tractors or trailers on their way to the bog. Not even a solitary crow to be seen, all the wild things are huddled in their lairs. Work was a pain in the proverbial, ten minutes after wed closed people were still browsing in the aisles as if they had all the time in the world. Jordan on a sleepover tonight so just me and the hounds and Im bloody starving. Theres rice in the fridge I cooked this morning so going to make egg fried rice with spring onion and garlic, Ill add some cooked chicken and that should fill a gap. Off tomorrow so I may indulge in a glass of vino, still a bottle of red left from my christmas swag, easy to tell my sisters are not in the vicinity! Forgot to mention..jordans been bugging me for a piercing for ages and I kept fobbing her off with that old chestnut When youre older anyhoo..last night she took the diy approach with a sewing needle. Needless to say I was not amused but to prevent further midnight mutilations I rang the body piercers so we can get it done professionally. My son has several piercings but thankfully has never felt the need to do his own. I suppose I should be thankful she didnt try to do her own tattoo..bloody teenagers, you need eyes in the back of your head.
