Homemade Bread Bowls Ingredients... 2 tablespoons sugar 1 pack dry yeast ( 2 1/4 teaspoons) 1/2 cup hot water 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup vegetable oil 3/4 teaspoon salt 4 cups bread flour (unbleached all purpose flour) (divided) 2 large eggs, slightly beaten 1 egg white 2 teaspoons water Instructions... 1. desolve sugar and yeast into hot water, let stand for 5 minutes. 2. Stir in milk, oil, salt and eggs. Add 3 1/2 cup flour to yeast mixture, to form soft dough. 3. Place dough onto lightly floured surface, fold and knead dough, add a teaspoon of remaining flour to dough to prevent it from sticking to hands and surfaces. 4. Place dough in large bowl, spray top with cooking oil turn over and spray other side. Cover and set to the side for 1 hour or until dough doubles in size. 5. Divide dough into 4 or 5 pieces, place on surface steam side down. With your hands pull sides down to create a smooth round top and flat bottom. 6. Place bread pieces onto parchment paper or cookie paper on cookie sheet pan, set to the side for one hour or until bread bowls double in size. 7. mix egg white and 2 teaspoons water together, brush the tops and sides of bread bowls. 8. Preheat oven too 400° bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked thoroughly, cool on wire rack. 9. Cut tops in circle, clean out a little bit of the bread to make room for your soup. 10. Fill with broccoli and cheese, potato soup, vegetable soup, chilli, or even mashed loaded potatoes, top with cheese and serve right away!! :)
