Homemade broccoli noodle with stew minced pork in carrot & potato I realised to roll out long and sustainable (arr.. Cant find a nice word for it) noodle, corn flour is important. In my last few tries, the noodles (with smaller proportion of corn flour to all purpose flour) were easily breakable after boiling in water. So, today I tried with more cornflour and it works (hopefully the remainder dough for tonight also work). Broccoli noodle: 300g all purpose flour 100g corn flour 100g broccoli, steam & puree 1 tbsp olive oil 30ml water (or as needed) Mix everything and knead. Stew minced pork with carrot and potato (can replace pork with chicken or beef) 1. Marinate minced pork with blended apples (I used one gala and one green smith) and dash of pepper, overnight. 2. Diced potatoes and steam for 5-10 minutes so that it gets easier to cook. 3. Stir fry onions in olive oil until slightly brownish (I added few pieces of fenugreek, this is optional). 4. Add in marinated pork and stir fry for 1 minute. 5. Add in steamed potatoes, diced carrots and one bowl of soup. Let it stew for 15 minutes or until cooked. To prepare the meal, roll and boil the broccoli noodles. Then, top it with the stew minced pork with carrot & potato. My 18m2d tried using chopsticks - the wrong side! LOL! Increasingly, I feel she is left handed - but too early to tell! ;)
