Homeward Bound!!! Psalms 73:23-26 23 I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. 24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. I would like to dedicate this mornings Cafe to Rosie Butler .....Rosie went home to be with the Lord last night .....She lived a fervent life for her King .......Her resounding words of Faith and Dedication will ring through our lives until we meet again .......She held tight to her Masters hand ......and Now He holds tight to HERS!!! Truth is ......ALL of life is here summed up in todays passage ...... When someone one close heads home ....we are brought into a place within ourselves to stop .....and reflect ....and forecast ... that being said ...lets look at the scriptures ..........While I am here on this earth ......the psalmist gloats to the Lord ........You will GUIDE me ......You will GIVE me the DIRECTION I need .......for EACH step of the way .......You will NEVER leave me .......or FORSAKE me ......You will HELP me when I stumble .......and you will STEER me when I lose my way!!!! .......What’s more is you will GUIDE me with THY counsel!! .......This is no mere human ..... fallible leader ......You are an All-Knowing ......All-Wise escort .......... .......You will NEVER give me wrong advice .........or send me in a WRONG direction .........I will NEVER meet a problem to which YOU do not know the solution .........and I will NEVER get so off course ........that YOU cannot guide me back to safety!!!! But that is all just life on earth!!!! .......AFTERWARD ......... you will RECEIVE ME INTO GLORY!! ........After You have Carefully .....and Lovingly ........directed my way here on this earth ......You will Usher me into Your Glorious Presence in Heaven ........ .....There is no intermediary state ........ death is NOT a tunnel .......it is a DOOR ........ And when I release Your hand in this world ......you will take mine and receive me into the next!!!!! There is no “sending” .........there is only guiding and then receiving .......There is NO time Apart from YOU!!!! Death ........where is your sting ......Grave .......where is your victory ......Devil .......where is your terror???? ....... MY God WILL guide me with HIS counsel .......and then RECEIVE ME into HIS Glory!!!! Good morning heavenly Father ......Lord I praise You for promise of eternal peace ......Touch the lives of those who mourn ....fort with your tender loving presence ....sweep through the minds and hearts of those left behind ...Help us Jesus to carry on ....forge ahead .....and press toward the prize ....I rejoice in Rosies homecoming ......SHE IS YOURS .....and We were only blessed with the encounter ........Thank You for Guiding ......and RECEIVING ........Grow Us Abba ...Closer ....In Jesus name .....Amen!!! Say a prayer for Rosies family today ....think and reflect on your own life ......Thank Your Father for Guiding Counsel ....and REST in HIS PEACE ....for afterward ......when your Homeward Bound .......YOU ..HE ....WILL ....RECEIVE .....You Are Loved ....with and EVERLASTING LOVE!!!
