Honest car discussion here. Dont ban me. So now that Ford has decided to come into the modern times with an independent rear end what do you think will be king of the all around car. Id say for comparison sakes, Z28 or ZL1 vs GT350R. The ZL1 with the 6.2 S/C, the Z28 with a 7.0. While a very proven based engine the Ford comes with the first flat plan American V8 of modern times. Z28 around 3800 hundred pounds, ZL1 at 4100 and the GT350R doesnt have an offial weight yet that I can find but Id imagine less than a stanard GT coming in at 3700. The regular GT has pulled a .95 on the skid pad so Ill imagine the GT350R will pull a bit better. The Z28 pulled I think its was a 1.09 Both have your massive brakes and sweet races seats. Both with a version of tuned suspension. So are they going to give us some good well rounded American cars or going to just be like normal disappointing v8s?
