Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry would like to announce that nearly 6,500 pounds of meat came from livestock donations at the Monroe County & Owen County 4-H Fairs. This will provide over 25,000 meals to residents in need in these counties. Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry paid the processing fees to Rices Quality Farm Meats Inc.. in Spencer, Indiana, where the livestock was processed, packaged and distributed to the following hunger relief agencies: Hoosier Hills Food Bank, Backstreet Missions, Community kitchen, Family life center and Mother Hubbards Cupboard Thank you Owen County Fair Grounds ,Monroe County Indiana 4h 4-H
