Hope you have all had a good start to the new year! Recently went to the stage doors of the Empire Theatre (Sunderland) and the Playhouse (Whitley Bay) to grab the casts of the NE pantos. They included Roxanne Pallett, Jeremy Edwards, Su Pollard and Matt Lapinskas. Conditions were very difficult (freezing and very windy) so out of respect for the cast I chose not to stop them for any more time than they needed to be outside for. This meant I was not able to explain the charity Christmas Cards, so chose not to get them signed this time. The exception being Roxanne Pallett who was very nice despite the conditions- her card has already been sold and have added the figure to the grand total for 2014. News on that later :-)
