Hopefully the quote from the idiot VP of Ticket Sales/Marketing Robert Alvarado in which he states that LA is not a sports town will garner him the same reaction from Angels fans as Josh Hamilton got from Texass fans last season. Ever since Alvarado (ahem) assumed this position, total ticket sales have dropped year after year, due mostly to the changes he instituted that have caused Angels season ticket holders much distress over the past few seasons. Obviously, I wasnt the only one to give them all a one-finger salute this winter... How many of us in the real world could keep our respective jobs and careers under performing like Alvarado has? My lord, you have the best player in baseball, and two former MVPs in your lineup as well as a perennial Cy Young candidate at the top of your rotation, and the attendance GOES DOWN??!!?? Bring back Matthew Swanson!
