Hopefully this would be my last intervention on this Buhari Issue. This is an old article by Wole Soyinka, going through the history of Buharis despotic junta. The issues which made Buhari undesirable 8 years ago, havent changed. I have nothing against those who admit these fault lines but believe any change is better than what we have presentlly like Femi Shaba seems to believe. That is their opinion and there is some logic to it. However, when people try to present Buhari as some sort of saint like Jidster Talabi & Fiona Tutuola have been going to great lengths to do, trying to whitewash his tyranny & felonious past its good to remind them that records are not just kept to assist the weakness of memory. But I hope there is a presidential debate, and Buhari will have to offer comprehensive explanations for his actions in the past. he cant hide behind Jonathans incompetence to sneak into Aso rock. Franklin Aziagba, see where the incompetence of ur boy GEJ has brought us. People are now seriously rooting for a dye in wool despot like Buhari. Thats my sunday Tonic. With this post i hope to wind down on politics for the year. Every nation deserves the leadership it gets. If Nigerians vote for Buhari, they will deserve the disaster that will come. For the records, and my facebook postings in 2011 are still there, I foresaw GEjs incompetence. I rooted for Shekarau in that election, as I believe he is more competent thant GEJ and Buhari combined. In this election unfortunately, I see no such person.
