Horror has been my genre of choice since I was little. My mom would go to the free library and find scary story books for me in the childrens section. I remember my mom telling my dad about one particular trip to the kids horror section. She found a book of stories that seemed interesting and started reading through it, but had to put it down because it was frightening her and she was worried about me reading it. I have no idea what book or what story it was, but I just drew a picture of a green ribbon around a lock of hair for Matt Margo and it reminded me of that story where a boy goes on a date with a girl and she has a ribbon tied around her neck to keep her head from falling off and now I really want to know what scared my mom so bad.
