Hot Buttered Rum 1 lb. real butter, room temperature 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 lb. dark brown sugar 1 quart vanilla ice cream, warmed up a little Mix all together. Keeps in freezer for months. Spoon out about 4 tbsp. in about 3/4 cup of water. Heat until you can blend in the sugar etc. mixture, add dark rum. Enjoy. (Bicardi is okay, but theres another brand thats a lot better but I forget its name. It really has been decades since I had this.) Its also good to give to kids - but without the rum- . I used to call it Hot Buttered Rumless for Larry and Diane when they were kids.
