Hot Hob blues jam review 30-09-14 Excellent night with guest Mike McKeon and a hall full of talent. Jammers 14 Guitar 7 Pete Bone, Owen Barry, Tim Aves, Stevey, Simon G, Arron & Juan Carlos. Bass 3 Rob Barry, Angelo & Tony Myers Drums 2 Paul Lester, Paul Patch Vocals 1 Michael Parker Harp 1 Nick Nichols Bongos 1 Clive So nice to see Tim Aves at the jam with members of his band, and Owen Barry over from the US on holiday. Mike started the evening on his Dobro guitar with two laid back songs. Changing over to Telecaster and Boogie amp, he then rocked things up like only he can. As always an all original set. Tim Aves was next up with Paul & Tank and the very talented Owen Barry. Nick & Michael followed with two more great sets. Vocals were shared in the last set between me, Tim & Nick. There was still time for two songs from our guest Mike KcKeon. A really great night. Thanks to our full team of helpers Jan, Serena, Alan & Dee. Next week is trio week followed the week after by our own home grown talent Michael & Aaron. And in three weeks time we have our fourth Jammers Revenge.
