Hot topic tonight I have received many letters about Cancer warriors living in a very stressful environment, some abusive, bullying, emotional wearing down, diminishing of spirit. If you know that someone you love is broken and needs help, please know that most people battling cancer will not want to burden you as a friend to leave their abuser or emotionally destructive environment. If you want to help someone do not be afraid. I had friends help me when I was sick the first time and it was a blessing. Heather Rayburn Melody Kanter Williams Heather made her living room into a beautiful bedroom for me, I had a piano :) However the only way I ever played it was falling on the keys in the middle of the night and waking them. Melody had to convince me, she wanted me to feel at home and gave ma a room and said I was not a guest, that I was her sister. They both put nightlights in my room for me because I was afraid of the dark. This is love in action. I had to be convinced I was NOT A BURDEN, I was loved and am still loved... I learned that the gift of giving is a beautiful one. Thank you for all my other life changing gifts from Cindy Jones Dawn Fulkerson Allen Sharon Lautman and others who gifts to help me through lifes struggle and battling cancer were invaluable.
