House Republicans have switched their tactics in a last-minute effort to derail Obamacare. The Democratic controlled Senate approved a federal spending bill without the Republican House’s demand to defund Obamacare. House Republicans will now seek to link defunding Obamacare to the bill to raise the federal debt ceiling. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew warned that the US government will run out of cash by October 17. Speaker John Boehner said today that Republicans will demand spending cuts before agreeing to a debt ceiling increase. The House may vote this weekend on a debt ceiling bill that may include delaying Obamacare by one year, and require the building of the Keystone pipeline
