How Sad...another dirty little secret just coming to light about the new AFFORDABLE CARE ACT!! St. Jude Childrens Hospital has done wonderful, amazing things to help children with cancer for years. Now, Obamacare is either going to force them to change their tax exempt status making them now a for profit organization or put them out of business altogether! This has done nothing to make healthcare more affordable for the young cancer patients who have previously turned to St. Judes during their fight for life. It will ironically penalize them or seriously reduce their chances of winning their battle against this horrible disease! Seriously....there is something horribly wrong with our system of government!! This is not and never has been about making healthcare affordable to all Americans; NO, its about more government control. If it was about more affordable healthcare and making healthcare available to all Americans who need it, it would do just that! But not only is it becoming more and more evident that AFFORDABILITY is not the goal of the ACA, its about total government control, its about giving the government and IRS the ability to have total access to every American citizens bank account, its about their ability to control who lives or dies, who has the available medical care when they need it, its about taking our right to make decisions about our own health away and putting that power in the hands of a select few who will make decisions based on their priorities and the financial bottom line. OBVIOUSLY, IF ACA were about making healthcare affordable and more accessible to everyone; then there would not be any reason to take such a stance with a wonderful organization like St. Judes. Their would be no reason for them to have to give up their non-profit, tax exempt status!! FURTHERMORE, If affordability were the goal here, then the government bureaucrats could learn a lot from St. Judes, because they have been providing services to any child with cancer who chooses to go there. They have always stated that no child will be turned away because of their inability to pay for services! Why would the so-called Affordable Care Act do anything to limit the care St. Jude provides, or attempt to hurt their program at all? It seriously makes me question what the governments ultimate goal really is......this is very unsettling to me! I Thank God that I have never had to use St. Judes Hospital for my children or grand-children; but it has always been a blessing to know they were there if the need should arise. I have known of countless others who have turned to them when they were given the unthinkable news that a child in their life had been diagnosed with cancer. I have heard countless stories about the quality care they give to these tiniest of cancer victims. I have been told that without St. Judes Hospital, many children would not have survived their horrendous battle with cancer. Many parents and grand-parents have praised them for the beautiful gift of life made possible only because St. Judes is committed to putting the lives of these little patients first!!! The lives of these patients and St. Judes ability and willingness to treat these children regardless of their parents ability to pay is the bottom line...thats what has saved lives!! Now, the government is going to step in and will likely put them out of business.....what is happening to our nation? Wheres the commonsense? INSANITY....INSANITY.....TOTAL INSANITY
