How are things with you? I hope all is fine and you are in good spirits. I am working now for a small boutique hotel group, absolutehotelservices and we are planning to open up a few new hotels in Vietnam. I was wondering if you could circulate this email amongst the Vietnamese Chefs association as we are looking for an Executive Chef/Head Chef for one of our properties in Hanoi and eventually in other parts of Vietnam. Our properties are relatively small and usually only have one or perhaps two restaurants. • Ideal person should be between 30-40 years old • Would consider Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous-Chef as first assignment if worked in top 4* or 5* hotel group • Be able to run the small kitchen with 7 cooks only which covers breakfast and A La Carte • Prepare small group events for lunch and dinner out of the same kitchen • Small wedding events with action stations and cocktail food • Knows well Western food and its latest trends • Is well versed in Vietnamese and other Asian Cuisines • Knows how to manage food costs and general issues of kitchen management • To be able to communicate in English and good with the staff • If possible to also run the F&B service • Salary is about 1,000.- USD per month Your help is very much appreciated Best regards Andre Buser
