💖How are we suppose to help if we dont know what you need!! 💖 That has been repeated to me over and over again since Chakota started 9 years ago, and yet I still feel like Im always asking for something. But then I think about how much we have grown and how much more it will take to sustain our Programs for our wonderful Riders and families, so I shake the uncomfortable feeling off, and tell myself, THE WORST THAT WILL HAPPEN IS THAT YOU WILL SAY NO, NOT AT THIS TIME....... And that is ok, it is not personal, and at least I asked!! So.........there are several things we need fairly quickly, the first one being a place to store some items that are being donated to Chakota. There are two separate homeowners who are willing to donate the contents of their houses to us and they want Chakota to benefit. One is practically a whole houseful of items. Living room set, bedroom set, and all kinds of collectables. The other is some light furniture and collectables, glassware and such......... Right now the money that is being raised for Chakota goes towards Riderships for those who cant afford to pay for lessons. (Chakota has never turned a Rider away bc of financial reasons) and upkeep of the barn and horses, so we really dont have the funds to allocate for a storage unit. These can be separated spaces if need be, but would like a large shed or garage if possible to store these items until we have an auction this summer. WE PACK UP THE FIRST HOUSE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AROUND 2! So needless to say, this is a priority request. Lol This turned out longer than I thought, so Ill not put my other request up just yet.
