How can Nigerians even think of supporting someone who truncated a democratically elected Government and had the impetus to suspend the bible(Constitution) of the nation. It still baffles me, on what grounds the people singing his praises are doing so. How can we be shouting for change and we are attributing it to somebody who in the past committed such a crime against Nigerians. If they so much trust him and his actions then, and strongly believe than Nigeria has not made progress under President GEJ, why are they not calling on the military to come and take over as their messiah did 3decades ago? Now the change we so desire is from a party that released a statement that the will form parallel Govt if they loose. Military never comot some people blood Shaa. We support someone who though apparently slow, has been consistent in building institutions for Nigeria and tackling corruption right from the roots. Tackling corruption by blocking access to corruption in the first place as evidenced by the reforms in the Civil service sector and other public institutions. GEJ may be slow, but I am seeing the country move. He may be too tolerant, but that is the reason why we enjoy the freedom we do today, a reason why we know more things going on in Govt that have been hidden from us all these years. Its unfortunate, the freedom he gave us, the insight he allowed us have, is being used by a few against him.
