How do companies survive in Dominica with that level of customer service? I applied for Cable from Marpin (I had another line). Was told I would be connected in seven working days or less (like Dominica is so big). Five days later called Marpin out of curiosity and was told my name is on the system but no one has been assigned AS YET to have me connected and I could not be given a time frame as yet. When I used to live in Jamaica, I switched cable/internet/phone company and was connected within 12 hours and I could reach a customer rep 24/7. And Jamaica is considered a so-called third world country, like Dominica. SO what are we then? Tenth world?
