How do you feel about Kansas Citys lack of snow so far this winter season? This time last year, KC had already received over 10 of snow! A combination of oceanic & atmospheric global weather patterns, and consequently a lack of significant storm systems across the Central Plains, can be blamed for our snow drought. Weve had plenty of run-ins with arctic cold, but the jetstream and the storms that barrel along it never quite organized in a favorable way for big snow. High temperatures over the weekend will easily soar into the 50s, and I think we wont see any measurable snow over the next seven days.
