How do you feel about birth workers who share about the births they attend on Facebook? Would it affect whether you selected them to attend your birth if you knew they regularly posted about births? Ive seen everything ranging from a simple and joyful baby! announcement at each birth to in-depth prayer requests with private information about the clients medical journey and a tag with the city or hospital the birth is taking place at. For the record, I am fiercely protective of my clients privacy and NEVER share anything without without absolutely explicit permission (and often I find myself asking multiple times for that permission just to make darn sure everyone is above board with anything shared on a social media network).
