How do you get a great shot of your horses head. Here is a hint to try and get a better photo - get one of the old 35mm film canisters (or a little plastic container similar), place a few metal pins or paperclips inside it. Stand in front of the horse or the rear or whatever angle you need to shot from and to attract your horses attention just rattle it a little bit but keep it hidden in your hand (not too much rattle or they may rush over to investigate or if they see something in your hand) - often they will look at you and even prick their ears and put on a very inquisitive face for you!
