How do you know if you or someone you know are operating in the spirit of error? Glad you asked. The spirit of error is a religious spirit that deceives a believer into assuming that God is talking to them, walking in them, and leading them when in fact God is not. The spirit will lead you to the wrong people, the wrong places, and will entice you to do the wrong thing continually. It is a religious spirit that thrives in the lives of believers who are not grounded and settled in the word. Once the spirit of error begins whispering, for like its daddy, the serpent, it is subtle, it will awaken a new idea in the mind of a believer and draw them away with it. This spirit will view those bringing correction as being jealous, mean, authoritative, hatin, and missing God to rip you away from them into the nest of deception it has prepared for you. The Spirit of error will draw you closely in cohorts with those operating in the same spirit to pacify one another. It will never accept anyone else in the clique unless they agree with its doctrine of devils. Rebellion opens up the door the spirit of error. Rebellion is the resisting of correction, order, and discipline for that which appeals to the fleshly appetite. The only remedy for a person bound by the spirit of error after youve prayed for them is the rod of chastisement. Just as a parent chastises a disorderly child, so the Father must chastise this disorderly one until they repent and return. 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
