How do you pray for the world? Is it personal? Or do you pray with big ideas and generalizations? Yesterday morning, I was reminded of how we need to pray internationally, our personal God wants to make it personal for them too. One of my favorite families at our school is from Palestine. That morning, the mother flagged me down in the morning drop off line, to personally thank me for being a good teacher. I teach, or have taught, three of her six children, and they are all a blessing. As she spoke, I was reminded of how we need to pray for not just Israel, but the people in Israel. We also need to pray for Palestine, and the people living there as well. Although this family may not be Christian, God loves them just as much as He loves me. Tonight I am praying for this family, that God will show Himself to them, and return the blessing they have been to me!
