How do you teach your children about money? My parents never discussed finances with me, almost treated money as none of my business. But maybe they dudnt want me to worry about it as a child? Anyway. My kids talk an awful lot about how expensive something is they want and how we need to save to purchase the extras we/they want. I absolutely feel children should learn to earn and the value but maybe I emphasize too much on the actual cost and cash, and not the real lesson to be learned... The reason I ask is because my kids are always asking is that too expensive, can we afford it? Is it weird that they ask these kind of questions?
