How do you work with your mobile phone and work? I currently have one mobile which is personal and business. Now I dont get enquiries through to it as they go to the office. But invariably I am getting increasing numbers of pupils texting me to confirm cancel or change lessons at all times of the day expecting a response... When I see my phone flash I cant ignore it, but if I dont deal with it I can forget. Im thinking of speaking to all of my pupils and perhaps having a cheap phone to use for then to contact me on, and it will be turned off after say 7pm at night and switched on when I get up in the morning.if Im unable to respond to a request or question in these hours given Im also teaching and running back and forth is it unreasonable to wait until the next day to respond? Please bear in mind this is for existing pupils not new enquiries. How do you work around the messages and calls at any hour issue, as Im getting a bit fed up not being able to switch off?
