How durable/reliable is the stock RA60F (05+ 4x4 auto) transmission? Im seriously considering a Chevy 4.8 swap in my 06 prerunner along with a 4x4 conversion and Im debating if I should source an adapter to mate an RA60F to the 4.8 or go with a 4L80E and modify everything that needs modifying. Im doing all of the work myself. Ive built several racecars and have the knowledge to tackle this project. Im just curious if the RA60F is durable enough to withstand the 4.8s power and light mudding every so often.
