How many of us humans can give thanks for their physical appearance to anyone except God and their parents for good physical attributes? That is to say: None of us can do much, with all of the latest medical technology, to change our outer appearance! I think people give way too much thought to the outer appearance and not nearly enough energy to inner self improvement. The inner is where true beauty is!
