How many of us over the past 2 years,have been asked to participate in a referendum poll? Every political party in history dismisses them and generally state that the only poll they believe is the election itself. I for one,would love to know the answer to the question,Where ,Who,and When? I may be a cynical old git,dont all agree at once,but I have this image of a junior journalist trying to impress his Editor,plucks a figure out of the air that would make his politically bought boss a happy chappy.Then runs a front page story.Todays Scotland on Sunday,for example,shows that not only has the Yes campaign stalled but has fallen by 2%.We all know the truth,so, bring it on! On the campaign trail yesterday in Scalloway and Tingwall we could have done our own poll.If we had done I will let you guess what the result would have been.Roll on September 19th!
