How many of you know how much money exactly goes into our roads, bridges, schools, colleges, polytechnics, hospitals, dispensaries, pavements, stairs,drains, parks, electricity supply and transmission and maintenance, village development projects etc etc.?? Do you really KNOW how these funds are being used ? Which is the EXECUTING AGENCY ? Who is the contractor ? AND IF THE WORK IS BEING DONE PROPERLY ? Did you know what is your role in your WARD or Panchayat ? Have you ever approached your Councillor or PRI leader for non-implementation or proper-implementation of the work? That is what I was trying to say in my earlier post !!! Each one of us are responsible for good governance. Most of us have not asserted our roles as active partners as citizens/voters of the state (except complaining on FB ?), nothing much is happening for the good of the state and its people, perhaps. COULD THAT BE POSSIBLE ? So, I am sharing with you all a seven minutes length video from the Aam Aadmi Party. Please watch it and comment in response to my questions above. Yes, I am a Congresswoman. But this video is excellent !!! So, in the interest of good-governance lessons to learn, I share. At least this is a good practice which needs to be promoted at wards and panchayats everywhere in the country to strengthen the voice of the people to ensure delivery of the goods promised.
