How many people have a real understanding of The Bucket List? To me this isnt stuff you think would be fun to try and maybe should in your lifetime. Instead, I take an old mans view of it. Your personal list needs to be the things that you simply MUST DO before you pass away. I had a long list a while ago. It has, by necessity, shortened radically. Either through accomplishment or through the reality check of priorities that some of us have to examine from time to time. I have nearly nothing left that I need to do on mine. That can put me in an awkward and uncomfortable state of mind at times but, upon every assessment, forces me to acknowledge the remarkable things I have made happen against the odds. It no doubt has something to do with feeling like I am in a hurry but it relaxes me at the same time to know that I have accomplished remarkable things. I have made things happen that I didnt dare to hope for. I would love to hear whats left on your lists.
