How many people out there have had negative contacts with any of the Pet Smart stores and told their dogs are part of the bully Breed kind and not welcome at the doggie day camps because their dangerous or apt to lash out. Im hoping to get the word out to my Friends who, like me have one of these dogs. The American Kennel Association also recognizes the Bully Breed but not to be used as Pet smart applies it. The following is a corporate response from Pet Smart when I asked what they considered a bully Breed and this was their response...............Dogs in the bully breed classification (e.g. American Pit Bull Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers or mixed breeds that have the appearance or characteristics of one of these breeds). For the safety of all animals and associates, and at the discretion of PetSmart, some pets may not be permitted. Im just curious if anyone has had this happen to them. Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt trust any of my animals to petsmart after what Ive learned, We have found a great local place that properly trains their employees how to handle all breeds large and small but I would like to help all my friends avoid dealing with what we did. Oh, our Dog, she is a Corso Mastiff who I was told at the store level, she looks like a pit Bull . Actually Sasha is mistaken for a Pit Bull quite often (And we both take it as a compliment) but we have agreed that we are going to have a T-shirt made for her that reads No, I am not a Pit Bull but some of my best friends are :-) Have a great day
