How many people were charmed by Obamas elusive middle class fantasy economic ideas that he knows will never be implemented on his watch with a Republican controlled Congress? He needs something to charm and distract us with, while he works with Republicans to get trade promotion authority (a.k.a fast-track authority) on clandestine trade deals (TPP, TTIP) that will give corporations more power than the nations involved. These deals will be horrific for the climate and our sovereignty. Giving Obama trade promotion authority to bypass Congress will greatly diminish our system of checks and balances.
