How the people are fooled ! Everyday I read in the news paper that inflation has come down in the country ! I got a proof today of what a big lie is that ! I went to purchase some vegetables from Safal, the outlet run by Mother Dairy or National Dairy Development Board. And in this season of plenty for winter vegetables, I found that cauliflowers are being sold at Rs. 48 a kilo ! There was a tv news last evening that onion is being sold at Rs. 5 a kilo in Delhi ! That lie was also exposed ! It is Rs. 22 and not Rs. 5 ! I know that some BJP supporters will give argument, Amitav ji, change your shop, at our locality in Madan Gir, cauliflowers are much cheaper ! Or at Timbaktu it is even given free ! I dont want to get into that argument ! My point is, in a govt. sponsored outlet, why such outrageous pricing of a most common vegetable ? Is there a govt. in Delhi or not ? And how that means that inflation has gone down ? Because the petrol price has come down ? ROFL ! It is because the crude price has fallen by 40% and our govt. had only lowered it by 18 % ! No credit to them ! This govt. is only fooling us, nothing else ! And raising smoke screens of religious conversions to divert our attention from their total failure !
