How to make Pappu Rice: Take: 1 Cup of Rice 3/4 Cup of Thoor Dhal ( Thuvaram Paruppu) Garlic - 10 nos. Jeera - 1 tsp. Turmeric Poweder - 1/4 tsp. Gingelly Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp. ( Nall ennai) Now... take clean the rice and thoor dhall and put together in a cooker add required water ( one is to two) add salt, jeera, and Garlic close the lid and keep it in the stove... leave for 3 to 4 whistle and when cooked pour Gingelly oil mix nicely and have it with Spicy Pickle or Curd with Appalam..!! Simple Easy & Healthy.....!! ( My grandma thought this and its one of my fav. too)
