How very grateful I am for my Facebook friends. Lots and lots of days you all lift my spirits. With all the bad going on in the world right now I try to get this laptop between me and that TV and do my best to ignore it. It is far to easy to take our friends for granted because they dont ask much of us, just our friendship in return. Recently I have had cause to stop and really take note of who some of my real FB friends are. They are some really amazing folks. Just like you I have lots of friends that are not believers but I treasure them. There have been times in my life when they were the very folks that were there for me when even my own church family didnt take time to care. That alone speaks volumes to me. Yeah they say words I wish they didnt and talk about stuff thats uncomfortable to me and go places I dont think they should but it is not my job to judge them. Thats Gods job. My job is to love them and I do. I dont tell them but I pray for them daily and I hope they suspect that of me. If not then I am a real failure to them. I just love this PAY IT FORWARD fad that is going on right now, reminds me of THE GOOD SAMARITAN. I had that happen to me earlier this week right here on Facebook for the first time. What a blessing!!! One of my FB friends reached out to me wanting to be a blessing to my family even thou they dont even know them. Their heart was burdened and wanted to find a way to help someone and were willing to take the time and go to the expense of putting feet to their prayers. Right away I knew what that was. That was THE HOLY SPIRIT that lives in their heart reaching out and loving others. I would never put their name on here because I know what Gods word says. DO IT IN PRIVATE AND HE WHO SEES IN PRIVATE WILL REWARD YOU IN PUBLIC. Ive been in their shoes, I know how important it is to do it just as God told us to. Do it for His honor and glory not our own. Far too many talk the talk but do not walk the walk even on Facebook. You sometimes see post after post that honors God but ever once in awhile you see them post things that are just plain filthy or offensive or rude and arrogant. My unsaved friends can be so much more comfortable for me to be around at times because they dont pretend to be something they are not. There are lots of good decent folks in this world that never darken the door of the church. Sadly there are lots of church folks that couldnt care less if their friends go to hell. I would just like to say to my Facebook friend that reached out to my family this week NEVER WEARY OF WELL DOING.
