How would the unique world perspective of the Hawaiian language conceive of the upcoming lunar eclipse? Perhaps they were so ahead of their time they documented this world view for all time in writing. And perhaps this can help us to conceive OUR culturally competitive world from a more Hawaiian point of view, value set, and understanding. This kind of historical authentic Hawaiian-language resources can be very helpful especially for those who live a mantra that has turned its backs, ignorantly so, on the world views and agency of 1st language-Hawaiian writers and speakers, as well as superbly proficient 2nd language speakers of (and this is the part where we focus on the context of this info and therefore how to value it) the 20th century.
