Howard is in the hospital, but he has a good chance of coming home tomorrow. On Sunday the arm with the cut had ballooned up and turned bright red. So we went to the ER, and they decided that one 2-hour IV wasnt enough. Fortunately, given his confusion issues, Kaiser supplies round the clock sitters, nursing assistants who stay with the patient all night and check in constantly during the day. Like every few minutes. So I got to come home and get some sleep, which I rather needed by then.
