Hrmmmm, I mean this is in all due respect and prolly less disgust than that Im currently showing... For aspiring producers who ask questions and but dont follow through: You might need to look in the mirror and seriously re-think your business strategy & monitor the shelf-life of your mere internet-only presence and market. --- Are people still really buying your beat-leases days/weeks/months/years later after you post them?? Is your soundclick really paying the bulk of your bills like rent/mortgage/car note/etc?? Have you realized yet that your method of leasing the same exact beat to 45 different artists has hindered any chances of ANY of their songs on it having financial success?? Have you caught on yet that your obsession to borrow & sample on EVERY beat dont go anywhere passed mixtapes, and require a pricey clearance fee?? Did you know that from label level, as producer, you are typically responsible for 50% of that clearance fee?? Are you noticing that your lack of want/urgency to get legal copyrights is the cause that youve never received a royalty check for radio airplay in your career?? Do you even know what a single campaign push is, what are your continued producer responsibilities, how long it generally is pushed, or what tasks go into it?? In your research, can you show me an actual example of 1 successful producer that doesnt leave home, staying solely internet only and doesnt go out and hit up battles, events, showcases, conferences, meetings, to actually network with others?? Have you called yourself a producer for 9+ years, but havent yet earned a placement/credit on a physical label-released CD in stores?? --- Yea, hrmmm, I wonder hows all that really working out for ya??? ...But its none of my business, I guess.
