Huddersfield needs you We have a fabulous team of volunteers who help raise funds during November’s Poppy Appeal in Huddersfield. However Richard Brook our Poppy Appeal organiser, has had a change of circumstances and can now no longer head up the team. So we are now looking for another volunteer organiser to take on this valuable role. The new Poppy Appeal Organiser would manage the whole of the appeal in Huddersfield with the support of his able team of volunteers. The Organiser will order the poppy stock, organise their delivery, the rota of volunteers that man the stores and finally oversee the counting and banking of the funds. The perfect person would be someone who can devote three weeks in November and who loves to organise, enjoys dealing with the public and is sensitive to our volunteers. This volunteer role is extremely rewarding and you will get full support and training.
