Huge news from the City of Cuyuna! The City of Cuyuna will receive $180,000 to help the city complete its plans to construct and equip a campground and park facilities at Cuyunas new pump track. In Minnesota legislature the provision was chief-authored by Rep. Joe Radinovich and co-authored by Rep. John Ward. The broader omnibus bill passed the House on a bipartisan, unanimous vote of 131-0 and passed the Senate with broad bipartisan support 59-1, with Sen. Carrie Ruud voting in support. Governor Dayton signed the bill. A red dirt thank you to Rep. Joe Radinovich, Rep. John Ward, and Sen. Carrie Ruud. This is great news for Cuyuna. A special thank you to Crew volunteer Joshua Rebennack who created the park facilities/campground design, plans, and documents that helped make this all possible. One last thank you to Dave Zontelli of the City of Cuyuna who has made it his personal mission to see the pump track come to life. Thank you Dave! Hit Like to thank these individuals for their efforts! In pump track news, the actual track is still being made ready for the grand opening. It will open soon, but not this weekend.
