Huh? This idiocy keeps getting worse. GMO modified strains of herbicide resistant crops means they can (and will) apply MORE chemicals on those crops, meaning more gets absorbed into our food crops. I watched a TED talk once about a guy claiming GMO foods are harmless because in his words, ...all youre doing is moving genes around. If it were just the genes, well - maybe (though David Suzuki, a reknowned geneticist, has his doubts), but more chemical resistant crops means MORE CHEMICALS ARE IN THEM that make it into our food. Why? Because they want to be able to dump more chemicals onto them to kill the weeds and have the crops survive. THAT - above all - is why we should ban GMOs.
