Humans are like little infants; not in a bad way but simply as an accurate comparison. We conjure up explanations for things we dont understand and we take those explanations so seriously, just like a toddler playing doctor. We understand so very little about who or what is actually orchestrating the people and situations that cross our path from one moment to the next, and this really only gets us out of the way so we dont interfere with all that. Again, I go back to an episode of Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman .... when my daughter was a child, I once bought her an ant farm. She quickly grew bored of it, but I was FASCINATED. As I watched their intricate building and managing of their universe, it suddenly dawned on me: what could they ever know about me - the one who created their world? We are like those ants - simply incapable of comprehending. But the Creator does comprehend.
