Hunger strike update: After a week of empty promises, systematic flick passing (This is not my department, you need to contact this person......) and run arounds fellow supporter Alley finally got her belongings back that was confiscated by the council simply exercising her right to protest and freedom of speech in a public place in a democratic society! They handed her belongings back after a week with a firm warning do not rejoin the protest (as if its their right to tell people what they can and cant do) as we are pissed off with Richard and have gotten a court order to remove him and we are getting rid of him in the next week or two with a bulldozer? Are these guys for real? Are they really on our side trying to create public spectacle for us with a bulldozer? Richard has gotten a response from the Victorian Premier and his letter has been forwarded to the Attorney General. So Richard is awaiting the response from the Attorney General. Richard is still looking for help and supporters for his hunger strike and the setting up of a Citizens Union so that no person has to go through what he went through and that other people who have grievances that are not being adequately addressed by the system will have an avenue to address their issues.
